Alabama head coach Nick Saban at SEC Media Days
Nick Saban has a lot of great things to say about the media in college football, and also he talks about his mentor Steve Spurrier.I really like Saban’s attitude, what a class act Mr. Saban has presented, and he is answering a lot of questions with a Pat Riley style. It seems like everywhere Nick Saban goes he wins championships, 1 at LSU, and 2 at Alabama.
Be Yourself
A profound statement by audio slave, Be Yourself, it’s all that you can do. That’s the only thing you can do, when the beautiful girl doesn’t fall in love with you, or you don’t get hired by that 500 fortune company, don’t lose any sleep tonight. Be yourself, that’s all you that you can do. Don’t try to be like actors, athletes and God knows we need role models, but Be Yourself that’s all that you can do.

Tyrann Mathieu Dismissed From LSU Team
Tyrann Mathieu dismissed from the team on charges that Louisiana State University is silent on the topic.Honey Badger caused havoc for other offensive teams that LSU faced. Mathieu is talking about transferring and enrolling at McNesse State a division 1 university out of Lake Charles,La. It’s very sad to see a player of his caliber release from LSU, but the University is taking a stand and sending a message. Mathieu had some key turnovers in LSU’s victory over no.3 Oregon at the time, as he stripped the punt returner of the ball and ran it in to the end zone the whole cowboy stadium was amaze by the play, even the Oregon fans.LSU is still a stacked team and could of used Mathieu as there march for another BCS Title berth, but they will have to regroup just like before the Oregon game last year when they lost Jordan Jefferson to a bar room fight, and they will have do regroup and go on without the Honey Badger. LSU will still be competitive and they have a lot of players returning and the freshmen will be filling in the slots. The season starts in less than 21 days, welcome back to college football.
Notre Dame vs. Army – 1926 – The Four Horsemen
aaaaaaaas the University of Notre Dame announces plans to face Army in Yankee Stadium during the 2010 season, here is a signature moment in the storied rivalry between the Fighting Irish and Black Knights. The most famous backfield in college football history – The Four Horsemen – took the field in the Polo Grounds of New York in 1926 and “Under a Blue-Gray October Sky” – they rode into college football historyaaaaaa

The Paul Finebaum Show talks about Urban Myer, 8/8/2012
I spoke to Paul Finebaum for the 1st time today on his talk show. The topic today was about Urban Myer and how he left Florida and the shambles of their football program. I think it was time for Urban Myer to go because the gators were not king of the hill anymore, and Tim Tebow took off to the N.F.L. Basically there is only a quarterback of the caliber of Tim Tebow that comes around once in a lifetime, I think Myer knew that it was time for him to move on, perhaps he could of stayed and recruited and put Florida back on top but lets face it every since Tebow left the gators have settle for 5 at best in the SEC, and that’s putting it mildly. I enjoyed talking to Mr. Finebaum today, I hope I can get on the air again and put in a few cents. It seemed like the regular Paul Finebaum talkers were at Disneyland, or mowing grass, or picking the garden. Urban Myer will do just fine at Ohio State and they will see a national championship real soon and to see their program brought back to elite status.
Former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow was paired with his former coach Urban Meyer and the 2011 FedEx St. Jude Pro-Am.
Last time LSU Tigers sat at preseason no.1,they won the national title in 1959

The Coaches Poll has come out and there are 5 SEC Teams in the top ten, with LSU no.1 and Alabama no.2 just in roll reversal from last year. If LSU keeps this position all the way through out the season, what a redemption that would be for their program. The Pac 12 has 2 teams in the top five USC, on probation for 2 years, and the Oregon Ducks. The Big Ten have at least 1 team in the top 10, Michigan, and 4 other teams in the nearby area. I am surprise to see OSU at no.19, and even more surprised by Boise State at no.22. Stanford lost Luck in the draft last year sits at no.18. Auburn finishes out at the no.25.
I do have a prediction watch out for Notre Dame with Gunner Kiel, and Ohio State in the next couple of years coming up.
Paul Finebaum visits Robert from Iowa
On Friday, October 21, 2011, WJOX radio talk show host Paul Finebaum made a trip to Waterloo, IA, to visit Robert, a frequent caller to his radio show. Robert did not know Paul was coming until that morning.
Accompanying Paul on the trip was two other callers, Tammy and Joe, Dr. Larry Lemak, a frequent guest on the show, Paul’s assistant, Alex. Dr. Lemak provided a private airplane for the trip.
Paul and the others spent about three hours with Robert and his parents, visiting and eating lunch, before returning back to Birmingham.
Rob Bolden at Penn State Media Day – 8/16
Rob Bolden just transferred to LSU,as Les Miles welcomes him with open arms.Bolden was one of the transfers from Penn State and will make the LSU offense a little more exciting.Mettenberger and Bolden will supply LSU with a great deal of talent at the quarterback position this season.Bolden has 16 starting games under his belt at Penn State.I believe LSU is gonna have a 2 quarterback system this year and they kinda look like the 2007 team this year without the 2 losses. My My My how things change on a daily basis to bring in a talented quarterback like Rob Bolden.the QB likes to stand in the pocket and throw the ball down the field, and I am sure if his receivers are not open the field the limit, that means he will take off running, but with LSU’s 4 running back system they will not have to worry about the QB running.

SEC Football Media Day 2012
Kevin Sumlin and the Aggies are gonna get a nice welcome to the SEC this year. Texas Am has a chance to win 8 games this season. The Aggies do have Arkansas and LSU at home, also they play Alabama,Auburn and Ole Miss on the road. The Aggies could easliy lose 5 games this year. Sumlin was 13 -1 with Houston last season but that is a totally different conference than the SEC. This will be the 1st Texas team in the SEC. I remember back in the 80’s when I would go to LSU Games as a student, the Aggies were very dominant back then as they came in and beat LSU on a regular basis. How times have changed.
Missouri has a tough schedule, Georgia in the 1st 2 weeks, Alabama, and Arizona State at home, on the road South Carolina, Tennessee,Florida and Texas A&M on the road.
