After watching the Top 20 roundtable there’s some teams who already take themselves out of the hunt. One thing the average football fan doesn’t understand is at the college level when you play 4 years you either go to the NFL, or Europe or get a full-time job, so basically college football changes alot. Ohio State since they are on a year of probation they will not compete for the national title.Michigan has a good chance to be in the BCS Title game but will be depending on Denard Robinson and the Wolverines Defense. The Big 12 just added TCU and West Virginia so there will a dog fight to see who wins the Big 12, Oklahoma looks good but they will have to battle it out with Texas Tech, and Texas. Texas looks okay but it seems they are content with their TV Program. So don’t expect any Big 12 Teams in the BCS Title Game, Boise State schedule is too soft so don’t think they will be there as well. Coming out of the ACC and the Big East not to impress with either conference, but I am sure Clemson and Florida State will make some racket and Clemson has a chance to finish in the top 10. That leaves us with the PAC 12 and the SEC. Starting with the SEC I would say LSU Tigers have a great chance to go back to the BCS Title Game, and this year Alabama and Nick Saban have to come to Death Valley for a night game, and that’s not going to be a pretty sight if you like the red and white colors. The winner of that game will go to the BCS Title Game, unless Bama slips up during the season and losses a few before the showdown against the Tigers. Turning our attention to the PAC 12, USC Trojans coming off 2 years of probation gets thrust back into the limelight at no.1 in the nation. USC will have to play Oregon and Stanford, and perhaps Oregon a second time, give the nod to USC to win the PAC 12 and have the right to play in Miami,FL, to face the SEC Champions the LSU Tigers. USC has 19 starters returning, including Matt Barkley, and LSU has roughly the same amount with a quarterback who can throw the ball down the field. Zach Mettenberg came from the Georgia Bulldog sysytem and they always produce good quarterbacks. I would say that would be the matchup everyone wanted to see since 2003.
