NY GIANTS 21 New England Patriots 17……..

Amazing the New York Giants pulled it out in the last 2 minutes of the game, and gave the ball back to Tom Brady with 57 seconds to go, amazing that’s for sure. Eli Manning was the MVP of the game, and got a trip to Disneyland riding around with Mickey Mouse. Well, looks like Eli Manning is the new upcoming Joe Montana, he hasn’t lost a super bowl yet, just like Joe Montana, Montana competed in 4 super bowls and won them all, amazing feat, Terry Bradshaw did the same thing by winning 4 superbowl rings. My website has been averaging over 2,000 hits the last three days so I am very impressed, and thanks for stopping by daily college football fans…….

I am impress with the Giants, it seem they were gonna let down at some point, or New England was gonna take over the game, but neither one happen as the Giants went on to win the game. The biggest catch of the game was by the giants #82 Mario Manningham, who likes to tip toe on the sidelines and make big catches. Manningham’s catch changed the face of the game as the Giants march down the field to set up there go ahead touchdown to seal Super Bowl 46. The famous play of the game was Ahmad Bradshaw running up the middle on the 10 yard line and I guess they told him not to score, but he stood on the 1 yrd line and leaned back and fell into the endzone for the final score…… amazing, the other score came from Victor Cruz in the 1st quarter and Mr. Cruz did his favorite Salsa Dance in the endzone………. The halftime show with Madonna was pretty cool, she can still dance that’s for sure. I was impressed with the Egyptian clothes and outline theme, and Vogue had a big part with Madonna’s halftime show as they sponored the whole gig. Being from Baton Rouge Louisiana, I was impressed with the Southern University’s Dancing Dolls choreography, amazing as they flew to New York to meet Madonna. The Material Girl asked the Dancing Dolls to teach them something, very impressive for sure, wow and that was the Dancing Dolls 1st assignment in front of a large audience. That’s amazing in itself knowing that’s your 1st performance. Well the Dancing Dolls of Southern are the toast of the South…….. as they performed at the Lucas Oil Stadium, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

SUPER BOWL 46, NY GIANTS vs The New ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Reporting live from daily college football, the biggest game of the year is on tomorrow, The New York Giants vs The New England Patriots, should be a heck of a game. The Super Bowl is 46 years old, and guess who else is 46, yes u guess it, myself. Every year the Super Bowl announces its Bday, I say to myself yep that’s my age too…… interesting for sure. It’s like I am suppose to be there.

Tom Brady has a chance to equal the same amount of rings that Joe Montana has, if he wins tomorrow he will have a total of 4 rings. Tom Brady grew up watching Joe Montana play in the Silcon Valley. Tom played at Junipero Serra High School,where Gregg Jefferies, Barry Bonds, and Lynn Swann went to school. I remember working for Eastbay BMW back in 1999 I dropped off Gregg Jefferies 1995 535i at his house, they had it detailed and then myself and another tech dropped off the car. Well Brady comes from a school of star athletes, and he played at Michigan as well, as a back up role, actually that’s how Brady got his job as a qb backing up Drew Bledsoe, until Bledsoe went down with a injury, and Brady took over and never gave up his job, 10 years later he has a chance to get yet another ring to his collection. The wizard behind all of this would be the coach with the no sleeves clause, Bill Belichick, the mastermind of another great season for the Patriots, but I sure Eli Manning and the Giants have something to say to about this……. we all are gonna have to wait and tune in to tomorrow. These are the same Giants who upset the defending champion 15-2 Packers. I say good luck to both teams……. and the Madonna Halftime show shall be very electrifying. The commercial ads should be very entertaining as well……..

Norman Goldman supports Obama and he will be re-elected……… Republi cons go sit on the bench……

Hello football world, I thought I would talk about some politics today, I was wondering if anyone notice that Rudy Giuliani was running for President of the United States, well with Remoney and Ging Rich running Rudy is not notice too much. I must say Remoney, according to the talk host on AM Radio Norman Goldman which is real funny. Remoney has alot of money in Swiss Banks, and the Caymans, imagine that, and by the way Remoney decided to do his taxes from last year, 3 days ago…….  U.S. Citizens, are we allowed to do that, pay our taxes 1 year later because he is running for president, also he only paid 14.9% on his millions of dollars. I heard Remoney status dropped in Florida, like 24 pts, when they found out he had money stash in the Cayman Islands…… hello Captain Jack Sparrow lets go selling. Norman Goldman is a common sense person, after listening to Mr. Goldman last night, Mr. Goldman holds no punches and speaks the truth, and does not sugar coat anything…… everything I said so far about Remoney is from the Goldman show, he believes that the repbuli cons do not have a chance against Obama, and I agree….. the front runners are Ging Rich, Remoney, I might as well run, and do you know the Republi cons have a few unknown candidates as well. I believe someone running is a computer technician,Becky Rusher, now thats interesting, guess what there hobbies were, you guess it… hanging out on the Internet, good luck to Becky. Another candidate from the repbuli cons was a mom who lived in Japan, Kathyern Lane,  and U.S. Senator in South Carolina,Lindsey Graham, good luck to all. I am not sure but I think you need to put up 3,500 for a fee to run for president.

I am impress with Norman Goldman, and he had some things to say about Obama, but bottom line he said he is voting for Obama, because the Republi cons have no serious contender, and all the Republi cons want to do is bring back big goverment , big corporate, and Raw money says corporate is good….greed is good…….LOL, that went well with the Floridians, that’s why he dropped 24 pts in the polls, thats like the movie from Wall Street, Gordon Gekko, greed is good……. Hey Mr. Raw money, alittle advise, I would zip it, and maybe you can still run against Obama, but if you keep talking…….  not a good thing. Zip it , Zip it…. Zip ZIP ZIP, like doctor evil said…. Zip it…….

Yep no hope for the republi cons…….. please don’t tag me as a liberal, even though I lived in Cally for 22 yrs, I am just saying what Mr. Goldman said……  and Mr. Goldman keep on telling people the truth, and don’t hold back…… God Bless.

Joe Paterno passed away 1-22-2012

I am still amazed that Joe Paterno died, as I am surprised, and so are other fans thats for sure. Joe Pa served as a usher at Brooklyn Dodger Games, amazing. He went to Brown University, and was the quarterback as well, he also passed on going to Law School, his parents were surprised, Joe serve in the Army in 1932, he was a asst. coach making 3,600 salary per year in 1950,at Penn State after 16 yrs Joe took over at Penn State, Nittany Lions 1967 -1969 they won 32 games without a loss. Joe Paterno got upset because his team was undefeated in 1969, and President Nixon gave the championship to Texas who was no.1 at the time, and beat no.2 Arkansas. Penn State finish at no.2 and was undefeated. President Nixon gave Paterno a call and wanted to present Penn State with a trophy for the most undefeated wins in 2 seasons and Paterno told whoever answered the phone that he was not interested in talking to President Nixon and told him to keep his trophy……LOL, thats Joe Pa for you always speaking his mind. He spoke that way towards Tricky Dick…..oh boy….. Joe Pa did pass Bear Bryant as the winningest coach of all time, Oct.1,2001. Penn State won titles against Georgia 1982, and a Super Miami Hurricane team in 1986. Paterno has given millions to Penn State Library and University, and had a profound impact on alot of college football players. Joe Pa will be missed on and off the football field, may you rest in peace Joe Paterno, God Bless.

The Trustees of Penn State took a stand and fired Joe Pa……..

Penn State trustees say they took out Joe Paterno  because the head coach didn’t meet a moral obligation to alert authorities about a child sex abuse allegation against Sandusky. The Associated Press interviewed the Trustees on thursday november 9th after the dismissal of Paterno. Graduate assistant, Mike McQueary former QB of the Penn State Lions, had a chance to break the whole scandal out in the open reported to Paterno and Paterno had a chance to tell the police, but chose to tell the school officials who chose not to do anything at all, until the story blew up in their faces. Joe Pa with all his influences, had no say of the outcome, and the trustees had all the say, knowing Paterno didn’t sound the horn. Paterno with alot of pull at the University had a chance to say or do something but I am sure he wanted the school officials handle the matter and he could focus on coaching football. The outcome is the fact the school didn’t say or do anything until the victims made reports to the police, which was this past year 2011. The school had no intentions of saying anything because they would of lost revenue and ticket sales, well it caught up with them, because the school is already losing alot of money, not too mention their history and reputation. A sad world we live in where we let a scandal like this take place, just for the sake of the almighty dollar and fan base. I wonder how many of the Trustees of Penn State knew about the scandal before it was uncovered, perhaps someone should investigate them too.

Sandusky was charged with dozens of child sex abuse counts four days before Paterno was asked to leave. I thought for sure when McQueary was on the stand in court he was gonna back down on his story, but chose to tell the truth, and speak up for the victims. Perhaps one day it will be a happy place in Happy Valley,Pennslyvannia and the University can put this dark cloud behind them and the town can move on with there lives. I know as a blogger and reporter its a very hard story to report on, but someone needs to talk about it and call out what needs to be said. The trustees took care of business and did the right thing. In the future we will see the outcome of Sandusky Case as well, as he goes to court.

Top High School QB in the Nation, Gunner Kiel, makes a decision to go to the Fighting Irish, instead of LSU

Well football fans Gunner Kiel out of Columbus,Indiana decided to go to play for the Notre Dame Irish instead of playing QB for the LSU Tigers, maybe after LSU’s loss to Bama changed the lads mind. So instead of following in Bert Jones shadows of famous Qb out of LSU, Kiel will travel down the road  and paths of Joe Montana. I wonder if Gunner Kiel will wear no.3, interesting for sure, perhaps he is going to the Irish because of all the QB competition LSU has to offer when spring practice starts real soon. LSU already has a few known Qb’s at helm, with transfer Zach Mettenberger, and Stephen Rivers competing for the Qb spot at LSU, good ole Gunner Kiel would of had a tough battle on hand. I say Stephen Rivers at 6’ft7, 215lbs will be the starting QB for LSU, but Mettenberger sat through the whole year behind Jefferson and Lee. I know for sure that Kiel Gunner will start enrolling at Notre Dame, and its a bus ride from his hometown, I will be sure to check out a few Notre Dame Football games since I live less than 2 hours away. I just read a article from Rivals.com/TigerBait.com. Kiel is going to Notre Dame because his mom wants him to be closer to home, that’s fair, she wants to be able to see her son play, and South Bend is only 172 miles away instead of Baton Rouge,La which is 672 miles away. Yep, Gunner has enrolled to start classes at Notre Dame, and will be closer to mom. I heard already that LSU will be the preseason favorite at no.1 in the nation, and to experience what they experienced in New Orleans, I feel sorry for all the teams that will have to play LSU, and that goes for Nick Saban and the Tide as well, especially when they have to go play LSU in Death Valley next year, oh by the way there will only be a couple of Alabama Fans there because the LSU Box office won’t sell you any tickets if you are wearing red and white colors…..LOL.  Also after LSU destroys Alabama next year in Death Valley, I am sure its gonna be a beat down…… there will be no rematch that’s for sure. I have a feeling with LSU at no.1 they will keep that position and go undefeated and win the national championship, Yep you heard it here folks there will be a 7th SEC Team winning the BCS Title Game again, 7 times, boy that’s a big number. Like I posted on the 17th of Jan, Las Vegas already has LSU at 3 to 1 odds to win it all in the 2012-2013 season. Well everyone have a great day and its 12 degrees in the Downers Grove,IL, I am sure it’s 65 degrees in Palm Desert,Ca where I used to live, have a fun week everyone……

Congrats to the Alabama Crimson Tide, 21-0 victory over LSU Tigers

Yep its done and over, LSU waited 44 days to play Alabama and got rolled by the Tide, did they ever get rolled. I think the Tide is still rolling down the street……  The Tide won in complete dominating fashion. Cheers to Bama………  Well, College Football Fans it was a good season, and I hope everyone has a fun year….. Alabama Crimson Tide 2012 National Champs….. Congrats

Jordan Jefferson plays his best football against Bama…….

Jordan Jefferson was one of the top prep quarterbacks in the nation coming out of high school in 2008,and Jefferson even won the High School State 5AAAA, playing at Destrehan High in his senior year in the Superdome. Now he gets to lead the LSU Tigers to their greatest victory of all-time.  This victory over Alabama is more important than the Grey Ghost, Billy Cannon running up the hash marks to beat Ole Miss 7 to 3 on Halloween night in 1959. This Team will be compared or greater than the 1958 LSU Tigers who went undefeated to go on to finish No.1 in the nation, and could be consider to be the best team of all time, especially if they beat Bama on Monday night after beating 6 rank teams on the road, including Alabama twice, and 2 top five teams, Oregon, and Arkansas. This game separates the men from the boys, that’s the truth. I never seen a defense like LSU dismantle a offense like the Oregon Ducks, who went on to beat a very good Wisconsin team, and Oregon will finish in the top 5 in the nation.

I am surprise by some of the Alabama Linebackers, they are saying things like its fun to win and laugh, I understand that but you can’t be saying that when you got one more game to play. I am surprise about these players from Alabama, and Mr. Finebaum thinking they are in a great position to win this game. I must say don’t count your chickens before they hatch, and don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Its funny to put Alabama in this game is sort of a new found luck for them, if OSU didn’t lose to the Cyclones we would’nt even be talking about Bama, so they got a lucky break. I know the way Les Miles ran up the score on the Razorbacks and the bulldogs, if he gets a chance to do that to the Crimson Tide Defense you know he is gonna turn the boys loose and pile up the points. The toughest team Alabama has played since LSU was Auburn, so basically they haven’t been tested in the last 3 games. I wonder how has Alabama played on the road in front of a hostile crowd, well the toughest team was Penn State, over in Happy Valley, that game was Bama’s toughest road trip of the year. I wonder if the defense for Bama has ever played in a noisy place like the Superdome?  Well after the lineman of LSU wearing down the Bama Defense, they will be very tired coming out of the 4th quarter, and LSU’s Speed on offense will be really explosive.

 Oh, I guess Trent Richardson has join the party of talking, saying Bama is gonna be playing with a chip on their shoulder, well the way I see it Richardson, you might as well put 2 chips on your shoulder since you got 2 shoulders, see if you can put 3 chips on your shoulder, I am sure LSU’s Defense wants to knock it off, and maybe knock you off as well. I haven’t heard to many LSU players talking, but that’s a good thing, just settle it on the field. I understand one linebacker from Alabama saying we would trade all our awards for a BCS Title ! Would someone go over and tell them, you can’t do that, you have to play the game……..   no trading, this is not the New York Stock Exchange, its the last game of the season, and Bama, you are playing the best team in the nation……. the LSU TIGERS…….. One thing I notice since listening to some videos of Alabama and LSU, Alabama is playing with a revenge factor, but you know it hard to think straight when you do that, and you usually make mistakes. LSU on the other hand I heard is very loose, and ready to play. I remember playing sandlot football, at the Parade Grounds at LSU, it was a muddy day out on the grounds. I had about 5 tds that day, and about 450 receiving yards; after scoring a few touchdowns, as we lined up on offense again, the cornerback was upset and he said, I am gonna stop you! I look at him did a swim technique, and my friend at quarterback Wes Green threw a 50 yrd pass to me, and that ended up in a 80 yrd td catch. Basically my point is the team playing for revenge usually doesn’t win, and the crowd is gonna be too much for Bama’s offense. LSU’s offense and defense is gonna be alot quicker and faster because of the plastic turf in the Superdome. LSU has won 4 big games in the Superdome, and 2 BCS Titles, they say Les Miles is not saying too much, but just smiling with that Midwestern Grin……..

LSU Tiger Mascots 34 Alabama Elephant Mascots 19……… in the Louisiana Superdome…..

The LSU Mascots played a game against the Alabama Mascots on EA Sports College Football and took care of business in the Louisiana Superdome with a final score of 34 to 19, as the LSU Mascots became BCS National Champs. What a day of scoring for the QB for LSU Tigers. The Alabama Elephants spent most of the day punting, and hanging out in their own endzone returning kicks. The Honey Badger Mascot took the opening kickoff 95 yrds, to open up the scoring, and the scoring was on. Jefferson Mascot for LSU did alot of running on quarterback sneaks, as the LSU recievers took the defense down the field and Jefferson took off running, 22 carries for 100 yrds and 1 rushing tds, and 15 for 25 in passing with 155 yrds in the air, with 2 tds. LSU backs had a big day, and LSU defense shut down the run, and closed the passing lanes and the Alabama Qb mascot threw 2 picks. The 1st game the teams played, did go into overtime 36 to 29 LSU. LSU went into overtime winning the coin toss and scored on a 11 yrd scamper by Jefferson, to go up 7 pts. The Mascot Qb for Bama step back and toss a deep pass for 6, but hung it up there, and no. 17 Claiborne step in front of the ball to seal the victory for the LSU Mascots, 36 to 29.

Baylor Bears 67 Washington Huskies 56………

The Baylor Bears completed  the season in grand scoring fashion as they knocked off the Washington Huskies 67 to 56 in the Alamo Bowl. The way the score settle you think these two teams were playing basketball instead of football. Terrance Ganaway took the honors in the MVP of the game,as he ran away from the Huskies defense with 200 rushing yrds and 5 tds. Robert Griffin III had a impressive game as well 24/33, 295 yrds, and 1 td, and the first running touchdown for the Bears. I think its hard to stop a QB at 6’3, 220 lbs running out of the pocket, Griffin is gonna do very well in the N.F.L, even though some of the Baylor Fans was shouting at the end, one more year, one more year  to Mr. Griffin III. I got a chance to witness Griffin III play against TCU in Waco, Tx, which the game turn out to be a shoot out as well.

The Huskies put up some fireworks themselves, the QB for Washington, Keith Price was 23/37 with 438 yrds, and 4 tds, and no INT. This game was a high scoring affair when you thought Baylor was pulling away at 28 to 21, the Huskies came back and score a bunch of points to make it 42 to 24, then Baylor would close the gap and was still down by 49 to 39,and then take the lead for good 60 to 56, to make things more stressful for the Bears the Huskies had the ball with 2:26 to go in the game, but Price overthrew the receiver on 4 and 8 to end the Huskies hopes. Next play Griffin III hands the ball off to Ganaway, and he gallops away for the final score, 67 to 56 to seal the game.  The season came to a close for the Bears, and looks like they will finish in the top 5.  A well done season the Baylor Bears Football Team.    PICS from the Bears first game of the season against TCU.

The day and life of being a Website Owner in Downers Grove, IL

I was sitting in the Caribou Coffee shop, Downtown Downers Grove writing a few articles and I saw a strange thing walking around town with pointed ears, I thought to myself I need to go meet these students and put them in the Downers Grove Gazette.Their names are Dan,Scott(pointed ears),and Broderick Cotten,(freshmen football,Downers Grove North High School.

LSU stealing the highlights, as Gunner Kiel commits to the Tigers…..

Gunner Kiel was the lastest commit for LSU,out Columbus East High School in his sophmore year he threw 36 tds and no interceptions, basically his whole high school career he threw only 4 interceptions and that was in his senior year. Gunner Kiel was going to Indiana but the Hoosiers were 1-11 only win was against South Carolina State, so I can see the change of heart to go play for Les Miles.On a side note, I want to give a shout out to some Indiana Hoosiers Students I met watching the LSU vs Arkansas Game, the place of location was Westmont,Ill, the students were home visiting for thanksgiving, hope the Hossiers Basketball men and women have a good up and coming season. Gunner is actually showing up early during spring camp for LSU to compete with the other up and coming quarterbacks at LSU. LSU normally doesnt have a highly talented QB showing up like Gunner Kiel 6ft 4, 215lbs, LSU will have quite a few qb’s in camp in 2012, what a bright future for LSU’s offense, with all those recievers to throw too, and also dumping the ball off to the running backs will give LSU a very high powered offense, move over USC Matt Barkely, here comes LSU and Gunner Kiel, the next Payton Manning. Gunner Kiel is the no.1 qb in the country and no.2 overall prospect, congrats LSU, now lets focus on Alabama.

Boise State thumps ASU 56 to 24

I must say Boise State should of played a better opponent because ASU did not show up. In the open kickoff BSU Doug Martin took the kickoff the length of the field, and also Martin had 251 total yrds, 151 on rushes and name the MVP of the game. Kellen Moore won his 50th game as a Bronco and I think they should of dumped the gatorade on him instead of the coach….LOL. What a great 4 years he had at Boise State, and just like Tebow he should do just fine in the N.F.L. Boise finished 12-1 and will finish in the top 5 again.  James Taylor had a interception for 105 yrds for a td in the scoring spree for the broncos. Boise State should of been playing against no.12 Baylor, would of been a better game, and ASU could of played Washington again for a 2nd time.  A high point for ASU was the QB Osweiler, he threw  for 395 yrds, 2 tds, and 1 IT, 30/46, also Wr Robinson had 13 catches for 241, and 1 td. Well, Boise State made a point and they always do at the end of the season. I don’t think they should of been in the BCS Title game but a BSC Game would of fell right in place for the Broncos and well deserved.
