SIX FORMER TIGERS TO PLAY IN PRO BOWL ON SUNDAY
BATON ROUGE – Six former LSU football players will take part in the Pro Bowl on Sunday as the NFL’s annual all-star game will take place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Kickoff for the contest, which pits players from the NFC against those from the AFC, is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN.
The Tigers will have their former players split evenly between the NFC and the AFC on Sunday. Dressing out for the NFC will be wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. (Giants), offensive guard Trai Turner (Panthers) and cornerback Patrick Peterson (Cardinals).
LSU will be represented on the AFC team by wide receiver Jarvis Landry (Dolphins), offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth (Bengals) and nose tackle Kyle Williams (Bills).
Peterson leads the LSU group with his sixth appearance in the Pro Bowl. He’s followed by Williams with five appearances in the game, Beckham Jr. and Whitworth with three, and Landry and Turner with two.

Sunday’s Pro Bowl caps a weekend of football that also features four former LSU players playing in the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama on Saturday afternoon. Center Ethan Pocic, wide receiver Travin Dural, linebacker Duke Riley and cornerback Tre’Davious White will represent the South squad in the Senior Bowl.
