LSU Tra Davious White talks about accepting no.18 Jersey

TRE’DAVIOUS WHITE AWARDED NO. 18 FOR LSU
BATON ROUGE – Junior cornerback Tre’Davious White was issued the No. 18 jersey by LSU head coach Les Miles on Wednesday night during the first team meeting of the year for the Tigers.
The No. 18 jersey is awarded annually to the player on the LSU football team that displays a selfless attitude while representing the Tigers in a first-class manner both on and off the field. The player is also considered a team leader and someone that the younger players on the team can look up to and learn from.
White, a native of Shreveport, La., enters his third season as a starter for the Tigers and is considered by those involved with the day-to-day operations of the program as one of the most caring, genuine and outstanding young men at LSU.

Terrance Magee a big night as LSU beats Kentucky 41-3

If you were present for the LSU vs Kentucky Game saturday night you probably had no idea what the outcome of the game would be at Tiger Stadium. After the 1st quarter LSU went up 21-0 it’s gonna be along night for the kickoff returners for Kentucky. I was talking to a Lady Tiger Basketball player before kickoff, and I told her I think this is gonna be a repeat of the Manziel Texas AM vs LSU Game from last year, actually it was better.

I was amazed to see my prediction turnout more than normal, you could just tell their was something in the air that night for LSU Football in Tiger Stadium. The night was right for a LSU Blowout. I spoke to some Kentucky fans before the game and they were looking for their 1st victory in Tiger Stadium since 1998, and they were pretty positive about beating LSU. Well the LSU Football team had other ideas. Leonard Fournette started things off with a 3 yard plunge into the endzone, and then LSU held Kentucky’s offense and next thing you know it Tre Davious White took off for a 67 yard punt return, the whole Tiger Stadium went mad. If White, Magee and Fournette have big games against Ole Miss, that might be a recipe for victory for the Tigers this saturday for Home Coming and College Game Day coming to Baton Rouge,La.

Magee also scored a couple of touchdowns with 258 all purpose yards, wr Druval hauled in a td catch as well for 32 yards from qb Jennings. LSU qb Jennings managed the game really well, and the defense cam to play as Kentucky tried little screens the whole night. I thought to myself after the 15th screen by Kentucky picking up a few yards, they should throw the ball down the field, Kentucky even tried the Wildcat a few times, imagine that Kentucky running the Wildcat offense which picked up some yardage but no touchdowns.

I know Kentucky had a rough night, but sometimes it’s good to stick what you know, Basketball…..  and leave the Football to the big boys in the SEC West. I am sure Kentucky hasn’t seen a team like LSU the whole year, yeah they are just one of the many teams in the SEC West. I am sure LSU  was tired of being talked down too, like the ESPN announcers who predicted Kentucky to beat LSU, and the one of the analytist from the SEC Network picked the Wildcats as well.

The stage is getting set for one of the biggest rivalries with Ole Miss at no.3 in the nation coming to Tiger Stadium to play the Bayou Bengals, oh and College Game Day is coming, and Macklemore is gonna perform at halftime, and it’s Home Coming. The stars and the planets are lining up, and their is gonna be something special in Tiger Stadium Saturday Night. If I was a betting man I would have to put my money on LSU saturday to pull off the upset, besides Ole Miss, LSU owes you from last year, just the roles are reverse alittle…….   I am sure Miles and the Tigers love playing the underdog in Tiger Stadium……   as the Joker said in Batman,     and here we goooooooo .
