A storm of over 75 mph winds, that cover St, Gabriel to Port Allen, La in length, with lots of rain, and a reported tornado on the LSU Campus, and by the I-10 and I-12 split touch down. I was driving down Airline Hwy going to pick up a Uber Customer at the Baton Rouge Airport, and I saw black clouds coming my way, not to mention lighting as well so I cancel the ride, called the customer told them I wasn’t coming to pick them up, because of the bad weather. The customer at the Baton Rouge, Louisiana Airport said who is gonna come pick me up, I told them, I cannot pick you up, and told him to take cover because there is a tornado in the area, the customer said can another Uber driver pick me up, and I told him no one is coming to pick you up…..lol. I floored it and headed to my house to get out of the storm.

Coach Les Miles talks about the LSU Spring Game this saturday April 18th
According to LSU Coach Miles the spring game will not signify any positions, on the available performances by any player. That means the quarterback battle from Jennings and Harris,basically Brandon Harris can throw 4 touchdowns and run for 3 and still be the backup quarterback, satudays purple and gold game will not give anyone the edge of any position according to Coach Miles. Basically it is like last year when Harris out performed Jennings, in the spring game, but Harris was playing against the 2nd team defense and Jennings was playing against the 1st team defense. This saturday Harris will take some snaps against the 1st team defense and they will be tackling. LSU Defense will be one of the top defenses in the nation which will be displayed this saturday at Tiger Stadium.
Coach Miles was asked the question about Terry Bradshaw’s comments this past weekend, when Bradshaw suggested LSU should start Harris, and if they don’t he will be calling out LSU Footbal during the season. Coach Miles basically said, that anyone is entitled to their opinion and their opinion is important and valid. Since Terry Bradshaw and Brandon Harris are from the same area that is why Bradshaw is speaking out and likes Brandon Harris style of play.

LSU Football Big Cat Drill 3-24-2015
Dailycollegefootball.com was on the LSU defense side as the Big Cat Drill got underway.The LSU Football players were getting after each other today, defense and offense, and they were not letting up. I actually got a front roll seat for about a few minutes until it started to get crowded. It was pretty intense today on both sides of the field.

Coach Miles says QB Jennings is feeling very comfortable about the LSU Offense and expects big things from the Georgia native.
The LSU Tigers had their 2nd scrimmage and the defense is dominating the aspect of the scrimmage. According to Les Miles Anthony Jennings was the most productive QB for this scrimmage, and Miles said he threw 2 touchdowns. WR DJ Clark caught 2 td’s and Dural caught a touchdown as well in the scrimmage. LSU gets ready for their annual scrimmage which will take place April 18th.

Gonzaga is sending a message to the rest of the teams as they beat Iowa Hawkeyes by 18 pts. The Zags are rolling and they even have a former wildcat who won a championship with Kentucky, Kyle Wiiltjer who chipped in 24 pts from the outside with 3’s and from the inside. The freshman Sabonis, chipped in 18 pts, who is the son of Arvydas Sabonis who played for the Portland Trail Blazers in the 80’s and 90’s. Pangos helped with point production and is consider the best point guard in the NCAA. It would be interesting for the Zags to meet up with Kentucky, and amazing to see if Gonzaga knocks off the wildcats. I got the Zags knocking off UCLA by 10 or 15, and Duke in a very close game, and they probably will face the Sooners, or Michigan State. In my bracket I do have Kentucky vs Gonzaga in the Championship Game. Mark Few has his team playing with a purpose, the Zags consistently been in the sweet 16, to round it out and end up in the Final Four, which they have been in to the top 3 pretty much throughout the whole year. I would say it would be remarkable if Stockton”s Alma Mater beats Kentucky in the last game of the season. We already know what team America would root for if Kentucky and Gonzaga met up, the underdog, and if Gonzaga won that game it would Pandemonium throughtout the USA.
