Delaneyscollegefootball.com with a update on this weekends action in College Football
A discussion about Max Wittek the Qb from USC predicts a win over Notre Dame this saturday, and the BCS talk about who is going to Miami, also some predictions about the top 10 in NCCA Football, from delaneyscollegefootball.com
Montana Magic
Nothing but pure Joe Montana highlights. Why he isn’t the undisputed greatest quarterback of all-time is a mystery to me. The list should read Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, and Joe Montana.
Notre Dame has a big game coming up saturday in L.A. against the USC Trojans if they are gonna make it to Miami to take on any of the SEC Teams Alabama or Georgia, they are goona need to keep playing hard nose football. To see Notre Dame win it all this year would be an awesome task for the Notre Dame Football Program,to beat a team like USC and a SEC Team in Miami they are gonna need some Montana Magic from Everett Golson and a big game from Manti Te’o.The Irish are already underdogs if they make it to Miami.Actually odd makers have them at 10 point underdogs to any top ten SEC Team so that should get the Irish alittle fired up knowing that they are underdogs to even teams like LSU and Texas A&M,and we have not added Alabama or Georgia to the conversation. The outcome of this season is a good one, coming down to the final games of the season to see who plays in Miami.I would say that’s the way any college football fan would like to the season to end.To look at the big picture Oregon and Kansas State will need a lot of things to happen to make it to Miami, but since loosing over the weekend in complete fashion says everything about Oregon and Kstate.Oregon was thrashing teams before they came across Stanford, now they go on the road to face rank Oregon State, and Kstate is completely done, everyone ahead of them would have to lose this weekend, and in the next coming championship games. In order for the ducks to go to the Pac 12 Championship game Stanford will have to lose to UCLA,but frankly I think after Stanford’s win they will finish strong this year, and that strengthens Notre Dame schedule since the Irish beat the Cardinals in South Bend.I got the Irish over U.S.C. and get ready to take on Alabama for the Championship Game in Miami, sounds like a good ole throw back game.Like I said, the Irish is gonna need some Montana Magic.

Emotional Les Miles – Classic Press Conference mpg
Fiery LSU head football coach gets extra emotional after victory over Ole Miss on November 17, 2012.Les Miles talks about LSU Seniors and saying how much that they deserve respect and hats off to the seniors.I might add when Odell Beckham scored on the kick off return Les Miles felt like a bowler and he knock down a strike…. Victory for LSU over Ole Miss.Jeremy Hill awesome game for the freshmen 3 rushing touchdowns.
Recap of the top 10 as Oregon and Kansas State lose today
A big day today in NCAA Football as no.1 Kansas State and the Oregon Ducks take a fall out of the top 5. The Notre Dame Irish will be no.1 in the nation with Alabama at no.2, oh how things change. The talk of the nation was how a SEC Team was not gonna be in the National Championship Game, but the way it looks Alabama will represent the SEC IN THE BCS Title Game. Georgia and Florida will probably move ahead of Oregon after they drop, and Kansas State will drop far down the food chain after losing to Baylor 52 to 24. I seen teams get beat but not by 28 points and at no.1 in the nation. There is still plenty of football to be played, as Notre Dame travels to LA next weekend to take on USC.I would say it’s not fun being no.1 because it seems like the no.1 teams are falling every week. The Notre Dame Irish are the only undefeated team in the nation and will try to run the table to make it to Miami for the BCS Title Game.
David almost slayed Goliath again,Florida Gators get a surprise from the Ragin Cajuns on Homecoming Day
The Ragin Cajuns of Lafayette almost pulled off a big time upset, with Broadway and Peoples leading the way the Ragin Cajuns had the Gators on the ropes. I am surprised of some of the Gators fans being so happy they pulled off this win in the last second, that really says a lot of about Florida’s program or it says a lot about the Ragin Cajuns and the other conferences narrowing the gap on the big conferences. The Sun Belt has beaten Arkansas,Auburn this season and they almost had their latest victim the Florida Gators.
The Notre Dame overtime win over Stanford, 20 to 13
This is the version of the video of Notre Dame beating Stanford 20 to 13 in overtime. Notre Dame Defense stops Stanfords running back on 4th and goal at the 1 yard line for victory over the Cardinals.

It’s starting to look like Alabama vs Oregon in Miami, BCS Title Game!
I want to thank all the viewers who stopped by Nov. 7th, 222 viewers, most of them were from the west coast who viewed the USC vs Stanford last year, thank you for stopping by and giving us a good day on hits. Well after last weekend it’s shaping up to be Alabama and Oregon in the BCS Title Game in Miami, Florida. That would be two perfect to teams to square off, the Duck Fans act like they already won the game, but no one is saying the Quack Attack doesn’t have an amazing offense it’s just their defense can’t stop anyone, so if you run the ball the whole game which Alabama does every game about 70% of the time and why AJ McCarron will not get the Heisman, then running the ball keeps the Quack Attack offense off the field and there is a whole different game. Basically I am saying the Ducks can put up a lot of points but they have to be on the field to put up those points. Finally we will get a showdown of the PAC 12 vs the SEC, actually we still have a lot of football to play as Paul Finebaum said on his show it might be another SEC BCS Title Game, amazing the Quack Attack might lose to Oregon State on the road so they might not make it to Miami. Alabama passed the test of any team in the country they waltz into Death Valley and almost came out a loser, basically, McCarron and offense were pinned down the second half not even getting across the 50 except twice in the second half, 3 and out and punting the ball, but McCarron waited for his last chance, actually it was his last chance, the last-minute of the game and LSU was playing a prevent defense, up by 3 points and playing a prevent defense, boy got to come up with something better than that. Anywho, McCarron lead the Tide down the field for a last-minute touchdown. Mettenberger looked like a NFL QB out there, quoting a Alabama Fan on Facebook, Mettenberger made big time NFL throws. I know some people on Facebook that I talk to during the week, it’s a crew of SEC Fans, one is a gator fan, we got 2 Bama Fans, and then theirs two LSU Fans. Now can you just picture these 5 people going at it on a regular basis rooting for different teams and talking smack about everyone. The Gator Fan is Joseph and if the Gators barely win he is still talking smack, myself and McKey are the LSU Fans, and Roman and Daniel are the Alabama fans, but it’s a small SEC group that talks smack about the other teams. I like this group of friends because even after LSU lost Roman and Daniel are class act Bama Fans where they don’t get in your face about the loss, but offer up praise for Mettenberger and the rest of the LSU Team, now that classic college football talk. Oh let’s not forget about Elvis, which is a Bama Fan but he was putting everyone down one day on a blog in Facebook, Joseph got alittle upset at him and told him to go put some air in a tire, or go change some spark plugs, even the Bama Fans didn’t appreciate his name calling. Anyway, I had to mention Elvis from Alabama, lol. LSU plays no.22 for homecoming this weekend and coming off a loss to Alabama, I don’t think the Bulldogs are in a good position coming into Tiger Stadium, LSU is gonna be alittle upset from the lost from Alabama. No predictions but I got LSU by a couple of touchdowns, actually I heard it was at least 17 points. Alabama plays Texas A&M at home this weekend. The Aggies have a no huddle offense. Well three weeks of football left until we get into bowl season, I will probably be at the Ole Miss vs LSU game gotta go down and pick up the roadster and say hello to the family and catch a game.
For all those fans that wanted to listen to the CWS song again…. GOOD-TO-BE-HERE

Alabama squeaks one out in Death Valley, 21 to 17 over the LSU Tigers
LSU Tigers gave a great effort last night as they almost handed Alabama their first loss of the season. LSU had Alabama on the ropes in Tiger Stadium. LSU who had the lead in the 4th quarter 17-14 driving down the field with 3:24 on the clock, as LSU was driving they stalled at the 28 yard line and the kicker came in to attempt a 45 yard field goal, basically if LSU would have punch the ball into the end zone they would have won the game, LSU Alleman kicker missed the 45 yard kick and McCarron got the ball back with 1:11 on the clock and starting driving down the field. McCarron and Bama were on a mission as they felt their BCS Title hopes and dreams slipping away if they didn’t finished this drive, but that was not the case as McCarron march down the field and Alabama scored the winning touchdown as he dumped off a screen pass to A.J. Yeldon for a 28 yard touchdown to give LSU their second defeat of the season 21 to 17. It was said so much during the off-season how LSU could not get pass they 50, basically it was the running joke on Facebook and every blog you could come across, not so last night as Zach Mettneberger threw for over 298 yards and a star was born. I am looking forward to see what Zach is gonna do next year, the last time LSU had a great quarterback at the helms, Matt Flynn, Tommy Hodson, and Bert Jones. Metenberger has proven to be an essential quarterback especially in a big game, Zach was 24/35 298 yards 1 td, and no interceptions.Landry caught a 14yrd touchdown in the end zone like a regular NFL receiver, and Jeremy Hill had the other touchdown for LSU also 29 carries and 107 yards, Hill has scored a rushing touchdown in the last 3 games and just a freshman. I wonder how the SEC defenses are gonna react to Hill next year once he gets some experience under his belt. I would say there are bright days ahead for LSU as they put there doubters to rest by last nights opponent. Alabama won the game but I think overall LSU has won some confidence and respect from the best team in college football. LSU showed everyone in the country they could keep up with Alabama. Landry and Beckham has good receiving for the night as they had 76 and 73 yards for each receiver. Drew Alleman was 1 for 3 so basically if he would have been 3 for 3 they would have beat Bama 23- 21, taking a look at the stats Miles should have took the points when it was 4 and 1 at the Alabama’s 24, if LSU would have took the 3 later on when they were on Bama’s 28 late in the 4th quarter they could have been up 23 to 14, game over. I am only a reporter not a coach, but everyone knows in a close game you always take the points. The LSU defense shut down Alabama in the last two quarters, McCarron did drive Alabama down the field in the 2nd half but Montgomery stripped the ball from Lacy and LSU recover the fumble to stop the drive. Give credit to the LSU defense for shutting down Alabama in the 2nd half until the last 1:10 of the game when McCarron and the Bama offense got really desperate to score a touchdown. You have to give McCarron credit because he made big time throws and guiding his troops down the field for the winning touchdown. If McCarron wins the BCS Title again this year I would say it would be time to enter the draft, why go back to school when you can go off to the NFL and play with the big boys. Let’s give credit to LSU because Vegas had them losing by 10 points.I did toot my horn about LSU pulling the upset, and I knew whoever took the points and took Bama lost their money in a big way. The way I see it now it looks like Alabama and Oregon are on a collision course in Miami. A complete Alabama team versus the Oregon high esteemed offense that cannot be stopped. That will be a complete classic matchup that will have the Pac 12 against the SEC. Kirk Herbstreit said in the video the reason why McCarron was crying in the end zone with his father because he was 5 plays away from sitting home watching someone else go to the BCS Title, basically LSU had Nick Saban and McCarron on the ropes. McCarron only had 96 yards before that last drive that 165 passing yards on the night.Yes Alabama escapes a shocker, and if Miles would have took the points in 3 trips inside the 25 yard line the score of this game would have been a lot different score actually the score would have gave LSU a 26 to 14 lead going late into the fourth quarter, but those are the breaks.Les Miles said in a post game interview he wished he could have had some of those calls back.Well, great effort Tiger Defense as you shut down one of the best offense teams in the country, and great job LSU offense as you score 17 points on one of the best defenses in the country. Hats off to McCarron as he look like Joe Namath driving down the field for the game winning drive. The Mad Hatter Les Miles almost pulled it off, man if Les would of won the game Louisiana would of made him governor of the state, well,we will get’em next year Les,keep up the good work.
