Alabama QB AJ McCarron discusses the responsibility that comes with being a public figure and a role model. Alabama’s QB AJ McCarron wants to be a role model to go out and only have a few drinks and that’s it, not stay out all night and act a fool. I agree it’s the athletes responsibility to conduct himself in a good manner for the younger fans, and to be a role model.

Les Miles calls out the scheduling, LSU playing Georgia and Florida the last 10 years.
Les Miles did not mention Alabama’s schedule, he did mention the west in the SEC, who do not play teams like LSU has in the past 10 years. Alabama once again has a very easy schedule this year playing Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss at home,Auburn and Chattanooga Choo Choo …..seven cup cake teams, those are not power house games and playing a schedule like that even if undefeated compares to a Boise State run for the national title. I know I am stirring the pot, but I think Les Miles has already done that. I think if Alabama will contend for future championships they need to play more than Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn and Chattanooga choo choo. I think what might favor LSU are two open dates that comes against two rivals in the SEC West, Alabama and Texas A&M, so that might play to LSU’s favor because they will have plenty of enough rest to get ready for two of the toughest games of the season, not to mention LSU plays Georgia and Miss State and Ole Miss on the road and Florida at home, actually we owe the gators at little pay back from last year….. and then Texas A&M comes to town before LSU travels to play Alabama and closes out with Arkansas at home.

Joe Montana: The Greatest Quarterback of All Time (Football Documentary)
Joseph Clifford “Joe” Montana, Jr. (born June 11, 1956), nicknamed Joe Cool and The Comeback Kid, was a professional football player, hall of fame quarterback with the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. After winning a college national championship at Notre Dame, Montana started his NFL career in 1979 with San Francisco, where he played for the next 14 seasons. Traded before the 1993 season, he spent his final two years in the league with Kansas City. While a member of the 49ers, Montana started in four Super Bowl games and won all of them. Montana was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000, his first year of eligibility.
Noted for his ability to remain calm under pressure, Montana helped his teams to 31 fourth quarter come-from-behind wins. In the closing moments of the 1981 NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl XXIII, Montana threw game-winning touchdown passes. The touchdown at the end of the championship game was so memorable that sports journalists, fans, and many others, refer to the play simply as “The Catch”. The touchdown in the closing moments of Super Bowl XXIII came at the end of a 92-yard drive.
The 49ers retired the number 16, the jersey number Montana wore while with the team. In 1993, Montana was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs and led the franchise to its first AFC Championship Game in January 1994. In 1994, Montana earned a spot on the NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team; he is also a member of the NFL 1980s All-Decade Team. In 1999, editors at The Sporting News ranked Montana third on their list of Football’s 100 Greatest Players. Also in 1999, ESPN named Montana the 25th greatest athlete of the 20th century. In 2006, Sports Illustrated rated him the number one clutch quarterback of all-time.

The Pleasantville jury speaks about the Zimmerman Trial
I am amazed by an all woman jury, and all the women mostly white and one mix lady. I never heard of a no men on the jury, and guess what there were two males present in the case. It’s funny to the jury coming forth and talking about the case in the dark, one of the Juror’s was interviewed by Anderson Cooper on CNN and she was in the dark, like she committed the crime or had something to hide, amazing, also she started crying on national t.v. and she mention nothing about Trayvon Martin, all she talked about was how this would have affect the poor guy, Georgie Zimmerman’s life. Cooper actually had to ask her how do you feel about the Martin Family, it wasn’t even on her lips to speak of Trayvon Martin, the one who died.
I feel for the Martin family because this case was not handle in the right way, and justice was not served. I heard thru the great vine that Georgie, Zimmerman is gonna start hiding out, imagine that, if he is not guilty why are you hiding out, show your face be a part of society. Well Georgie Boy that’s kinda like you are in prison if you are hiding from the public. Georgie Boy you will be in jail because of not telling the truth, and you pretty much jailed yourself in hiding out from everyone.
Hearing the other juror’s is pretty much in your face, they have sided with Georgie, yes they have, if you talk to all of them, they sound like they are on Georgie’s team, this was a bias jury, very bias. The Jury’s should have took off their Pleasantville Glasses and put on their reality glasses.
Zimmerman found not guilty
George Zimmerman is found not guilty in the kiiling Travon Martin. Amazing lots of athletes across the board are tweeting today their responses. Dwayne Wade and Chris Paul are very surprised by the Jury’s decision to not convict George Zimmerman. The response from the prosecution was we didn’t have enough evidence and witnesses, basically they did not do a good job of proving the murder or aggressiveness of George Zimmerman. I think in general Zimmerman changed his story around, and lied to the cops, but the cops were willing to take any story, when they first showed up on the murder scene there first response to Zimmerman was, how goes it Georgie, now that’s something talk about a close tight friendship, Georgie….. I must say you can’t go get any skittles or Ice Tea and walk through that neighborhood, not in a million years.
Here are some tweets from some professional athletes, to see what they think about the court systems in Florida.
@Michaelvick
I feel so bad for the Martin fam. We have a long way to go in America but please yall don’t do anything stupid. Let God be the final judge
@Adrianpeterson
My Heart goes out to the Martin Family! Keep the Faith! #God is in control, He’s the one and only Judge!
Jury weighing Zimmerman’s fate asks question about manslaughter option
I must say with the Zimmerman case at hand, and it’s almost over, almost. To listen to Mark O’mara talk on friday about his defense on Zimmerman was very interesting, for Mr. O’mara to stand there and go through his rebuttal of defending Mr.Zimmerman was slowly putting me to sleep. I must say we should be writing about football, but I chose to today to write about the court systems in the U.S.A. To sit there and listen to a lawyer say to the whole jury prove me wrong, and you must not have any doubts, if you have any doubts you cannot convict my client. Well, I guess that’s what a defense lawyers job is, is to create doubt in the case, oh my, oh my, I think I heard it all….. That means anyone could go out and create a crime, or murder someone and get a good lawyer and they can create doubt to the jury and you get off the case or be found innocent. I must say but that is not the America that I grew up in, and our history should not be based on this kind of thinking, it’s a wrong thinking.
Assistant State Attorney John Guy was very upfront on his rebuttal and made sure the Jury knew how Travon Martin felt on the night he was followed, pursued and shot on the last night of his life. I check the law in Florida, if Mr. Zimmerman gets manslaughter he will serve 20-25 years in prison.The prosecution is going for 2nd degree murder.
David Robison son playing for University of Notre Dame, football not basketball.
Wow, amazing David Robinson son is going to Notre Dame to play football. I am impressed that’s for sure, I wonder how he is gonna do on the field. Hernandez Acclimating To Jail
Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson discusses former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez’s transition to jail and the investigation into Hernandez’s tattoos and possible gang affiliations. According to the Sheriff Thomas Hodgson words, Hernandez has left a world where everyone was cheering for him on sunday’s, and he went from a 7100 square ft home to a 7ft to 10ft cell, and he has a longer number on his shirt. I would say it’s a humbling experience for him, he is allowed visits, and phone calls. The Sheriff said they are concerned anytime anyone comes in with tattoos, so they didn’t want to put him in arms way with another gang, and Hernandez said to the Sheriff Hodgson that he has no gang affiliations.
